The World Council of Churches, Executive Committee has reaffirmed its opposition to the establishment and expansion of Israeli settlements in Palestinian territory occupied since 1967 al. It has also rejected the US State Department’s position announcement on November 18 recognizing the settlements as legitimate.

Evangelist Franklin Graham has lashed out against those who continue to criticise US President Donald Trump, describing them as ‘almost demonic’. Mr. Graham was speaking on the podcast of Christian author Eric Metaxas. He suggested there was a spiritual aspect to the current impeachment process, adding that some people seem to exist to undermine President Trump.
A poll, conducted in the UK for the BBC’s Year of Beliefs, suggests that 70 per cent of adults agree it’s important for people to have a moral framework in their lives. It noted also that what people believe to be right or wrong differs greatly. The survey involved 3,655 adults.
