For these reasons, he advised that pastors need to be more thoughtful than ever about how they shepherd and protect those under their care.
Charity, Christian Aid has called for global legislation to protect women and girls against violence. Following high profile cases of violence against women in India, Christian Aid is urging those in power not only to punish perpetrators of violence, but also to address the structural inequalities that it says hinder the implementation of policies that would keep women and girls safe.
