It has been reported that a coalition of Christians across denominational lines are uniting to pray for an end to the coronavirus. According to the report, Cindy Jacobs of Generals International said the Holy Spirit spoke to her, granting the authority, but only as a global gathering. Plans are now underway for leaders to stand united in prayer tomorrow.


Meanwhile, Israeli scientists say they are just weeks away from releasing the world’s first vaccine against the deadly Coronavirus. The Galilee Research Institute said it spent four years creating a vaccine against the highly contagious coronavirus that infects birds and now they’re adapting the vaccine for the human Covid-19 coronavirus.


A small Christian village in Iraq is finally getting back on its feet after being largely destroyed by ISIS fighters. Terrorists defaced churches, decapitated statues and smashed all religious symbols to rid the Assyrian town of its historic Christian heritage. Christians the world over are asked to pray for all the teams involved in this important project and those who are returning home.


Pope Francis celebrated Pentecost at the Circus Maximus in Rome last Friday, with thousands of Christians from around world.  It marked the 50th Jubilee of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.  The movement began in 1967 when it is said the gifts of the Holy Spirit were bestowed upon a group of Duquesne University students on a retreat.  It’s understood there are more than 20 million Catholics in 240 countries who are member of the Movement.


The number of British Anglicans who believe that same-sex marriage is right has risen to almost half the membership.  This is according to a YouGov poll.

The poll was commissioned by the Ozanne Foundation that says it works with religious organisations around the world to eliminate discrimination based on sexuality and gender.
